Pace Calculator
Enter a race or run distance and the time it took. The result is even pace in min/km or min/mile.
How it works
Pace is elapsed seconds divided by distance. 10 km in 50 minutes is 300 seconds per km, shown as 5:00 /km. Empty hours or seconds count as zero.
This is even-split pace, not a GPS trace, and it is not a training prescription.
Formula
pace = total time ÷ distance
Worked examples

10 km in 50 minutes → 5:00 /km

FAQ
- How do I calculate running pace?
Divide your time by the distance. 50 minutes ÷ 10 km = 5 minutes per km.
- Does this account for hills?
No. It is average pace from clock time and course distance.
- Can I use miles?
Yes. Switch the distance unit; pace is then min/mile.
